Stamp Club Cards

Today was the last Stamp Club meeting for this session. Hostess Shelley brought a cute side-fold card for us to make as an added bonus. It featured a cool way to hold the ribbon on to tie the card shut. Very cute! Thanks, Shelley! Sorry, I don't have a picture of it. I guess there are some benefits to Stamp Club!

We had two card projects today. The card on the left is a criss-cross card featuring the One of a Kind stamp set. The instructions and a wonderful tutorial can be found on Splitcoaststampers.

Supplies:

Stamps: One of a Kind

Ink: Classic- Tempting Turquoise

Cardstock: Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise, Groovy Guava, Old Olive, Tempting Turquoise Textured

The card on the right uses the emboss resist technique, we tore the edge to add some texture then masked the torn edge to show the vanilla paper along the edge. This card features the Close As a Memory stamp set. I can't remember where I found this card but I did copy it from somewhere.
